During the KLQ Heats, the quizmaster reads ten rounds of ten questions, and the teams write down their answers, which are collected and marked. Each round is themed. Previous categories have included: poetry, authors, titles, settings, characters, and nursery rhymes. Quizmaster Wayne Mills writes original questions for each quiz (that’s several thousand each year).
Every year a new set of 20 practice questions are published here on the website. These have grown into a question bank which you can use to test yourself and practise for the heats or finals. Please choose a year from those listed below.
