Covering all of the Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects, our LEGO Education based workshops give students the opportunity to become engineers, researchers, analysts, designers and more. Through our practical and hands-on approach, students learn to take measurements, analyse data, make predictions, solve problems and design solutions. Every child takes part, working in teams to build and test their projects. We supply everything required on the day including our LEGO Education kits, worksheets and, when required, tablets & laptops.
An expert trainer will help you to tailor your workshop to suit your particular requirements and create the best possible workshop for your school.

Bookings for term 3 and 4 open from Monday 18 May, however, all booking requests will be subject to latest government guidelines and policies for COVID-19 safe practice. Due to demand, each school is restricted to a maximum of two workshop booking requests.

Southbank Centre offers a variety of specialised workshops for school groups across many art forms and topics in term time throughout the academic year.

*transaction fee: £3.50 per booking

We’re delighted to welcome schools to the Living Planet Centre in Woking, where our highly experienced education team will inspire and support your pupils to explore, discover and learn.

Schools can also opt to include a short or full-length performance by Springs and Q&A discussions that help young people focus on certain topics.
We deliver creative, inspiring, fun and energetic performances, workshops and assemblies. Workshops can be delivered in short sessions or we can stay for a longer residency and create a unique performance with your pupils. Themes can be selected from our popular themes below, or the focus and learning objective can be tailor made especially for you.

Workshops for schools
From September 2020, our workshops, storytelling sessions, CPD and projects for schools will have the option to be delivered online. This exciting new method of delivery will enable anyone who is teaching in socially-distanced classrooms, or who is distance learning, to connect with our education work from anywhere in the world.
